Act III

Dellicious, refreshing, and easy on the eye!

Here we present a cocktail David made up himself, and he’s mighty proud of it! Aside from gin and lime – foundation ingredients of many a fine cocktail – this one also features Domaine de Canton, a ginger-flavored liqueur, and Campari, the deliciously bitter Italian aperitif.

An Act III is a delicious hot weather refresher, not overwhelmingly alcoholic, and lovely to look at. Ordinarily we resist recipes with more than three ingredients, but this one is easy to measure and mix, and it’s worth the effort. So give it a try.

Act III

Equal parts:

  • Gin
  • Domaine de Canton
  • Campari
  • Lime juice (fresh, as always)

Stir the ingredients with ice and strain into a rocks or a highball glass with fresh ice.

For those who garnish, a sprig of mint or a lime wedge work nicely.
